Spring Artworx III Sale - May 11, 12 & 14, 2011 (Please note date change)
CALL FOR ARTISTS!
It's time to get your looms up and running again to take advantage of the ABK Weaving Center's Artworx III sale and open house! The sale will be held on May 11th & 12th from 3 to 7:00 p.m., with an additional sale time to be held on Saturday May 14th. We want your handwovens, which includes basketry items, as well as other items that are non-woven but fiber based (i.e., scarves, cards, jewelry, embellishments, dolls, handmade paper items, knitted items, crocheted items, hand sewn and quilted items, felted items and handmade books). We will accept items from WHI members, Weaving Center weavers, and friends and family who work in fibers and related arts. All articles must be handmade by the artist and not purchased for resale! Ten to 15% of all sales will go to benefit the ABK Weaving Center, dependiing on whether you work the sale or not.
Think gift items--Mother's Day, Father's Day and graduations are in the spring and people are always looking for special things to give. If you are interested in finding out what types of items sold last year, here is a link to last year's Sale Data Sheet.
Items for the sale will need to be dropped off at the Saturday, April 9th WHI meeting or on Monday, May 9th between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Weaving Center. If you find that these dates are impossible for you, phone Marcia at (414) 267-5771 to arrange a different date and time.

Sale Guidelines - Important information for all sellers.
Work Sign-up Sheet - In order to make this sale a success, we need your help in running it. Please sign up and send or e-mail your information to Marcia.
Inventory Sheet - An inventory sheet must accompany all items you put in the sale. Instructions are on p. 2 of Sale Guidelines.
Large Sale Tag - Use this tag with large items which require fiber content and care information. Please print this on white card stock and attach to sale items.
Small Sale Tag - Print this out on white card stock and attach to small items such as jewelry which don't require fiber and care info.
