INTERIM CLASSES
This winter Judy Larsen and Charlotte Erdmann are each offering a class during the time between our fall and winter sessions. They have designed these classes for people who have requested "specialty classes" dealing with subjects/techniques that aren't addressed in our Basics & Beyond classes. The classes are:
RUG WEAVING with Judy Larsen is offered through the Rec Department on p. 53 of the Winter Guide. This is a class for experienced adult weavers. She is offering you a 3-day (18 hrs.) class on Wednesday, January 11/ Friday, January 13/Wednesday, January 18, from 9:00 AM - 3:00PM. This class will provide the student with a variety of techniques for weaving rugs. With paper, pencil and computer drafting the student will be prepared to select fibers to weave a rug of choice. The rug may be started during this class and finished in another class.
Materials: graph paper, colored pencils, ruler, scissors. BRING A BAG LUNCH!

WEAVE A SCARF WORKSHOP with Charlotte Erdmann will be offered through the Weaving Center. (You cannot register for this class through the Rec Department.) This is a class for adult beginners.
Weave a scarf in your choice of yarn. You will calculate material yardage, warp your loom and weave a patterned or textured scarf (depending on your choice of materials). You will receive a supplies list with purchasing instructions when you register, so register early! Bring a friend. Class size will be limited to 6.
Offered: Tuesdays (January 10 & 17) and Thursdays (January 12 & 19) from 12:30 - 3:30PM.
FEE: $65 payable to Instructor at first class (cash only). You will purchase your own materials separately.
